Facilitate an Integrated Patient Record
The
eMEDRenal
Domain View and Module approach to its software makes it easy for every renal
care team member to access and record pertinent patient data easily and comprehnsively. Here
are the details.
Patient Administration - Designed for non-clinical staff
to manage the administrative part of the patient’s care. Like the other
user domains in eMEDRenal, the patient
administration domain provides easy access to the data required.

Correspondence - Organises all correspondence efforts from
providing facilities to create and maintain templates for letters and other
documents - to creating, reviewing, printing and storing letters and documents
- to importing incoming correspondence.
Data Viewer - The central general-purpose screen for accessing
clinical data. It is designed as a window on patient data for a single patient
or for multiple patients.
Internal Messaging and Notification - Allows users to communicate
with colleagues within eMEDRenal. When a new message arrives for a
user, the messaging icon changes to indicate unread messages in the user’s
mailbox. Messages are organised in Sent, Received, Draft and Archived folders.
Registry Reporter - Controls and logs the acquisition and
transfer of data from eMEDRenal to the UK Renal Registry or Scottish Renal
Registry.
This utility combines with automated data capture to enable a time-efficient
and cost-efficient approach towards satisfying the demands of Renal Registry
returns.
eMEDRenal Reporter - Used to prepare reports on
aggregates of clinical or administrative data. Replaces the funcunality of
the Data Viewer when it is more convenient to print the reports directly from
the Reporter or when
more
complex
reports
are required.
System Manager - Software used to manage the security and
configuration of the eMEDRenal system. It consists of a suite of tools
including User Security, Workstation Security, Laboratory Interface Management,
List Management, Dialyser Management, PD Fluid Management and Consumables Management.
